Article 17. Examination of submitted documents of the Law on Accreditation in the field of conformity assessment
1. The examination of the submitted documents is carried out within no more than thirty working days, calculated from the date of conclusion of the contract.
The examination of the submitted documents upon re-accreditation is carried out in terms of changes in the documents of the accreditation entity and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on accreditation in the field of conformity assessment.
2. An expert auditor for accreditation is appointed by the accreditation body to conduct the examination, and technical experts on the declared conformity assessment facilities may also be involved.
3. The expert auditor's report on accreditation should contain:
1) assessment of compliance of the submitted documents with the criteria of accreditation;
2) indications of non-compliance of documents according to specific criteria (if there are inconsistencies);
3) recommendations for correcting submitted documents (if necessary) and the procedure for confirming the applicant's compliance with these recommendations;
4) conclusions about the compliance or non-compliance of the submitted documents with the accreditation criteria.
4. Based on the opinion of the auditor-expert on accreditation, the accreditation body makes one of the following decisions::
1) about the examination of the applicant at the location;
2) the need for the applicant to eliminate the identified inconsistencies.
The notification of the decision is sent to the applicant within three working days from the date of the decision by the accreditation body.
5. The applicant, within thirty working days from the date of receipt of the notification specified in subparagraph 2) of paragraph one of paragraph 4 of this Article, shall eliminate the identified inconsistencies and notify the accreditation body in writing by mail with the submission of supporting documents on the elimination of inconsistencies. The accreditation body shall, if necessary, re-examine the documents within seven working days from the date of receipt of the notification.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, as well as related relations.
