1. An expert organization established by decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the organizational and legal form of a republican state enterprise on the right of economic management, subordinate in its activities to the authorized body:

1) conducts an examination of applications for industrial property;

2) registers objects of industrial property in the relevant state registers and issues protection documents and their duplicates, invalidates and prematurely terminates patents;

3) registers in the relevant state registers the transfer of an exclusive right, the granting of the right to use an object of industrial property, an open or compulsory license;

4) maintains relevant state registers and a bulletin and posts them on its Internet resource;

5) provides extracts from the relevant state registers;

6) publishes information related to the registration of industrial property objects in the bulletin.;

7) searches for information about registered industrial property objects based on requests from interested parties;

8) considers applications for industrial property in accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan;

9) carries out other types of activities not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The expert organization, in coordination with the authorized body, approves prices for services in the field of industrial property protection, provided that the organization fully reimburses the costs incurred for their provision, the break-even of its activities and financing from its own income.
