Article 12. Powers of the President of the Republic in relation to courts and judges of the Constitutional Law on the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The President of the Republic:

     1) based on the recommendation of the Supreme Judicial Council, submits to the Senate of Parliament for the election and dismissal of the Chairman and judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic;

     2) on the recommendation of the Supreme Judicial Council, appoints and dismisses the chairmen and judges of local and other courts.

     This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the legal status of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
