On the membership of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the European Commission for Democracy through Law

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 7, 2024 No. 494.

I DECREE:

     1. To appoint:

     Elvira Abilkhasimovna Azimova, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (hereinafter - the Venice Commission) from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Sarsembayev, Deputy member of the Venice Commission from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     The footnote. Paragraph 1 as amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 02/15/2025 No. 789.

     2. To make the following amendment to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2020 No. 289 "On the membership of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the European Commission for Democracy through Law":

     Delete paragraph 1.

     3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the necessary measures arising from this Decree.

     4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
