Article 22. Proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with the conclusion of international treaties of the Law on International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 22. Proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with the conclusion of international treaties of the Law on International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. When submitting proposals for the ratification of international treaties, the interested central state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan simultaneously submit proposals to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     If the adoption of subordinate regulatory legal acts is necessary for the implementation of an international treaty, draft subordinate regulatory legal acts are attached to the proposal for the ratification of international treaties.

     If the development of a draft subordinate regulatory legal act falls within the competence of another state body, then this state body submits the relevant draft subordinate regulatory legal act to the central state body of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerned.

      2. Amendments and additions to the laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Article, or their termination is allowed only after the amendment, addition or termination of the relevant international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

 

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 30, 2005 No. 54.

     This Law defines the procedure for concluding, executing, amending and terminating international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

     International treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan are concluded, executed, amended and terminated in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, generally recognized principles and norms of international law, the provisions of the international treaty itself, the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, this Law and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
