Article 535. Interrogation of a minor suspect, accused, defendant CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The interrogation of a minor suspect, accused, or defendant shall be conducted in accordance with the procedure provided for in Articles 216 and 367 of this Code, in the presence of a defense attorney, legal representative, and, if necessary, a psychologist and teacher. The defense attorney has the right to ask questions to the interrogated person, and at the end of the interrogation, to review the protocol and make comments on the correctness and completeness of the recording of testimony.
2. The interrogation of a minor suspect, accused, or defendant is carried out during the daytime and may not last for more than two hours without interruption, or for a total of more than four hours a day. In cases of obvious fatigue of the minor, the interrogation must be interrupted before the expiration of this time.
