Article 12. Grounds for transferring suspects and accused persons held in pre-trial detention facilities to temporary detention facilities of the Law On the Procedure and Conditions of Detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises Providing Temporary Isolation from Society
1. Suspects and accused persons held in pre-trial detention facilities may be transferred to temporary detention facilities in cases where this is necessary for conducting investigative actions and judicial review of cases outside the settlements where pre-trial detention facilities are located, from which daily delivery is impossible, for the duration of these actions and the trial, but not more than thirty days. days.
2. The basis for such transfer is the decision of the prosecutor, the judge, as well as the decision of the investigator or inquirer, authorized by the prosecutor, his deputy.

This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
