Article 22. Transfer of trademark rights during the reorganization of a legal entity in the form of a division of the Law on Trademarks, Service Marks, Geographical Indications and Names of Places of Origin of Goods
Upon the division of a legal entity, the trademark right passes to the newly formed legal entity, to which the production of goods or services passes.
If each of the newly formed legal entities retains a part of the production of goods or services for which the trademark is registered, the new legal entities are recognized as co-owners of the trademark with their consent.

This Law regulates relations arising in connection with the registration, legal protection and use of trademarks, service marks, geographical indications and names of places of origin of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
