Article 46-21. Reception and registration of persons subjected to administrative detention in special premises of the Law On the Procedure and Conditions of Detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises providing Temporary Isolation from Society
1. The procedure for receiving and registering persons placed in special premises, conducting personal examinations, medical examinations, fingerprinting, photographing, as well as the list of items to be seized, shall be determined in accordance with the rules for organizing the activities of special premises.
The procedure for receiving and registering military personnel placed in premises for temporary detainees, conducting personal searches, medical examinations (if necessary, fingerprinting and photographing), as well as the list of items to be seized, are determined in accordance with the rules for organizing the activities of premises for temporary detainees.
2. Close relatives at the place of residence are immediately notified of the placement in special premises of persons subjected to administrative detention, and the command (chiefs) of military units (institutions) are informed of the placement in premises for temporarily detained military personnel subjected to administrative detention.
When a foreigner is placed in a special room, the State body that carried out the administrative detention immediately notifies the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Security Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
