Article 46-24. Release of detained persons from special premises, premises for temporary detainees of the Law On the Procedure and Conditions of Detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises Providing Temporary Isolation from Society

1. Persons who have been detained shall be subject to immediate release upon the disappearance of the circumstances that served as the grounds for their detention, or upon the expiration of the period of detention established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The documents, money and things seized from them for storage, except for things whose storage is illegal, are returned to the released persons against receipt.
3. In case of illegal possession of firearms or cold weapons, explosives, potent or poisonous substances and narcotic drugs by persons subjected to detention, decisions are made in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. Upon release, a person is given a certificate of his stay in a special room, a room for temporary detainees.

This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
