Article 429. Threat of violence against an employee of an institution providing isolation from society or his relatives, or encroachment on their health or life of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 429. Threat of violence against an employee of an institution providing isolation from society or his relatives, or encroachment on their health or life of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

     1. The threat of violence against an employee of an institution providing isolation from society, or his spouse or close relatives in connection with his official activities –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of two to five years.

     2. The use of violence that is not dangerous to life or health against the persons specified in the first part of this article, –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.

     3. The acts provided for in the first and second parts of this article, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement or with the use of violence dangerous to life or health, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years.

     4. Encroachment on the life of an employee of an institution providing isolation from society, or his spouse or close relatives in connection with his official activities –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to twenty years or by life imprisonment.
