Authorized body in the field of education:

1) implements, within its competence, the state policy in the field of population migration;

2) allocates educational grants to ethnic Kazakhs and Kandas in accordance with the quota established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for admission to study in educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan that implement educational training programs for technical and vocational education, post-secondary and higher education;

3) provides textbooks and educational and methodical complexes to ethnic Kazakhs studying in educational institutions abroad, in accordance with international treaties to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party.;

4) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 13.06.2013 No. 102-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);

5) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 22, 2011 No. 477-IV.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of population migration, defines the legal, economic and social foundations of migration processes.
