Article 54. Categories of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan traveling outside the country The Law on Population Migration

     Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan traveling outside the country are divided into two categories:

     1) citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan traveling to another country for permanent residence;

     2) citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan traveling to another country for temporary residence.

     Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan traveling to another country for temporary residence include personnel of foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan engaged in temporary work in foreign countries, military personnel performing peacekeeping duties appointed in accordance with quotas assigned to the Republic of Kazakhstan for positions in international organizations, as well as persons who are studying, medical treatment, on a tourist and private trip, at the invitation of organizations and individuals, on a business trip to foreign countries.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 22, 2011 No. 477-IV.

    This Law regulates public relations in the field of population migration, defines the legal, economic and social foundations of migration processes.
