1. Immigrants in the Republic of Kazakhstan have the right to:

1) enjoy the rights and freedoms established for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless otherwise provided by the Constitution, laws and international treaties;

2) for education, medical and social assistance in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) free movement on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is open for visiting by immigrants;

4) free choice of place of residence in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

5) apply to the court and state bodies for the protection of their property and personal non-property rights;

6) to receive paid adaptation and integration services at the Kandas adaptation and integration centers, with the exception of the Kandas and their family members who receive these services free of charge.

2. Immigrants in the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) bear the duties established for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless otherwise provided by the Constitution, laws and international treaties;

2) are obliged to comply with the Constitution and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the established procedure for entry, exit and stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3) provide copies of identity documents for the purposes of protecting national interests and ensuring national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4) go through the process of identification and (or) authentication of the identity for the formation and updating of the digital profile of the immigrant in the reference database of immigrants.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of population migration, defines the legal, economic and social foundations of migration processes.
