Article 7. Observance of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen, the rights and legitimate interests of a legal entity in the conduct of forensic expertise Law on Forensic Expertise

1. Forensic expert activity is carried out in compliance with the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen, the rights and legitimate interests of a legal entity in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, generally recognized principles and norms of international law.

2. Forensic expert investigations requiring temporary restriction of a person's rights and freedoms are conducted only on the grounds and in accordance with the procedure established by law.

3. A person who believes that the actions (inaction) of a judicial examination body or a judicial expert have led to restrictions on the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen or the rights and legitimate interests of a legal entity has the right to appeal against these actions (inaction) in accordance with the procedure established by law.

This Law regulates public relations in the implementation of forensic expertise in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
