1. Involving formations and military units of the National Guard in the performance of duties to protect public order or to assist internal affairs bodies in ensuring the legal regime of the state of emergency, the legal regime of the anti-terrorist operation, participation in the anti-terrorist operation and the elimination of emergency situations and their consequences, as well as to combat illegal armed formations, localization and blocking of the conflict area, suppression of especially dangerous offenses, sabotage, acts of terrorism, armed clashes and separation of the warring parties, carrying out measures to disarm and eliminate illegal armed formations, seizing weapons from the population in the conflict area, strengthening public order and security in areas adjacent to the conflict area, in isolation from permanent locations, is carried out by decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The duration of the involvement of the personnel of the formations and military units of the National Guard in the performance of the tasks assigned to them, specified in this article, in isolation from the points of permanent deployment should not exceed three months.

3. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 06/29/2021 No. 58-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
