1. The articles of Association of a consumer cooperative must contain:

1) name and location;

2) the subject and objectives of the activity;

3) the procedure for the entry and exit of members from the consumer cooperative, including the allocation of their share in the property of the cooperative;

4) the composition, amount and procedure for making property (share) contributions, liability for violation of obligations to make property (share) contributions;

5) the procedure for the formation, election (re-election) and powers of the executive, supervisory and other bodies of the consumer cooperative, and the procedure for their decision-making;

6) the composition and competence of the management bodies of the consumer cooperative;

7) the procedure for decision-making by the governing bodies, including on issues that are decided upon unanimously or by a qualified majority of votes;

8) the procedure for covering the losses incurred by the cooperative by the members of the consumer cooperative;

9) conditions for the reorganization and termination of the cooperative's activities;

10) information about branches and representative offices;

11) the nature and procedure of the personal labor participation of the members of the consumer cooperative in its activities;

12) the relationship between the consumer cooperative and its members, the executive body of the consumer cooperative and employees.

2. A list of members of the consumer cooperative is attached to the charter of the consumer cooperative, indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, place of residence and details of the citizen's identity document, as well as the name, location and bank details of the organization, if a member of the consumer cooperative is a legal entity.

3. The charter of a consumer cooperative may contain other provisions that do not contradict the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Amendments and additions to the charter of a consumer cooperative are registered by authorized state bodies in accordance with the procedure established by law.

5. In relations with third parties, the consumer cooperative and its members have the right to refer to amendments to the charter of the consumer cooperative from the moment the body carrying out state registration is notified of the amendments and additions to its charter or their registration in accordance with the procedure established by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or from the moment information about the amendment of the charter of the consumer cooperative is entered into the National Register of Business-identification numbers based on a court decision. However, third parties have the right to act subject to these changes and before the specified circumstances and deadlines occur.

This Law defines the legal status of consumer cooperatives, the organizational, economic and social conditions of their creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation, the rights and obligations of members, the powers and responsibilities of management and control bodies.
