Article 148. Reservoir pressure maintenance and Water Treatment Code on Subsoil and Subsoil Use Republic of Kazakhstan  

     1. Subsurface users carrying out operations for the extraction of hydrocarbons under different subsurface use contracts may inject the prepared reservoir water of one subsurface user into the reservoir of another subsurface user in order to maintain reservoir pressure in the cases provided for in Article 150 of this Code.

     2. The subsurface user may involve persons who own the necessary infrastructure facilities to prepare associated and (or) other (including seawater) water for further injection into the reservoir in order to maintain reservoir pressure.
