Article 61. Powers of the probation service in the execution of punishment in the form of community service of the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     Probation Service:

     1) keeps records of convicted persons;

     2) explains to them the procedure and conditions of serving the sentence, as well as control over the serving of the sentence;

     3) familiarizes the convicted person, under signature, with the notification of receipt of the verdict, the court order and the order of the akimat on the organization of public works within five working days after their receipt;

     4) controls the execution of public works organized by local executive bodies by visiting the place of execution of public works by the convicted person, including, if technically possible, by partially recording their execution;

     5) within five working days after receiving from the akimat the timesheet and the act of work performed, as well as information about the behavior of the convicted person, conducts a preventive conversation with him.;

     6) In relation to a convicted person who has absconded in order to evade serving his sentence, he carries out initial search measures and submits a wanted notice to the court.;

     7) distributes information about the performance of public works in the mass media.
