1. The basis for taking measures of individual prevention of domestic violence is one of the following circumstances:

1) receipt of an application or message from individuals and legal entities;

2) direct detection by an employee of the internal affairs body of the fact of domestic violence or an attempt to commit it;

3) materials received from state and local government bodies.

4) reports of violence in the media, as well as on online platforms.

2. Statements and reports on the commission of domestic violence or the threat of its commission are considered by state bodies in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2009 No. 214-IV.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational bases of the activities of state bodies, local governments, organizations and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the prevention of domestic violence.
