Article 8. Official warning to a person who is threatened with violence or other acts prohibited by criminal law about possible criminal liability Law on State Protection of Persons Participating in Criminal Proceedings
If there is sufficient data on the threat of violence or other acts prohibited by criminal law against protected persons, with the exception of cases provided for in article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the body conducting the criminal process issues an official warning to the person from whom the threat of violence or other acts prohibited by criminal law emanates, about his possible involvement in criminal liability. The warning issued by the body conducting the criminal process is announced to the person against receipt.

This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.
