Article 7. Competence of local representative and executive bodies The Law on the Prevention of Domestic Violence
1. Local representative bodies:
1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);
2) approve and monitor the execution of local budgets in terms of expenses for the prevention of domestic violence;
3) facilitate the implementation by citizens and organizations of the norms of this Law.
2. Local executive bodies:
1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);
2) ensure the interaction of subjects of domestic violence prevention at the local level;
3) establish aid organizations and ensure their functioning;
4) identify and keep records of minors affected by domestic violence and dysfunctional families;
5) organize the provision of special social services to victims in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on social protection.
6) ensure that an analysis of the needs of students and pupils who have been subjected to domestic violence is carried out in the provision of special social services in accordance with the standards for the provision of special social services and send proposals to the authorized body in the field of education.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational bases of the activities of state bodies, local governments, organizations and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the prevention of domestic violence.
