Article 16. The rights of the owner of a historical and cultural monument The Law on the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage Sites
The owner has the right to own, use and dispose of historical and cultural monuments as objects of ownership, with the exception of the right to destroy them independently.
The owner of a historical and cultural monument has the right to demand non-disclosure of its contents or to deny access for research and public inspection for up to fifty years if the object of ownership belongs to him by inheritance and by its origin or content is related to the personality of the testator or the ancestors of the owner.
The owner has the right to make a profit (income) as a result of the use and exploitation of historical and cultural monuments, limited by a security obligation.
