Article 26. Admission of inheritance and extortionate property to the State property The Law on State Property
1. In case of death of an individual, the property belonging to him may be transferred to the state in accordance with the will in accordance with the procedure established by the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. If there are no heirs either by will or by law, or none of the heirs has the right to inherit, or they all renounced the inheritance in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the inheritance remaining after the death of an individual is recognized as extortionate property. The extortionate property is transferred to the district communal property at the place of opening of the inheritance in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
