Commentary to article 24. Consent of the guardianship and guardianship authorities to make transactions for and for minors  The Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan  

The commented article talks about transactions made by and for minors on behalf of minors in accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the Civil Code.

Cases when the consent of the guardianship and guardianship authorities is required to make transactions for a minor and for a minor on his behalf are provided for in Articles 135 and 134 of the Kazakh SSR Code, Articles 13 and 30 of the Law on Housing Relations of April 16, 1997.

These include transactions involving the alienation of property worth more than a certain amount of CoBS, transactions involving the alienation of housing, the issuance of debt obligations, the renunciation of rights belonging to a minor, inheritance by law and will, as well as the rental of property for a period of more than a year.  

In these cases, the consent of the guardianship and guardianship authorities is required to make transactions for and on behalf of the minor by the legal representatives of the minor in accordance with art. 23 of the Civil Code.
