Article 56. Industrial control over the protection, reproduction and use of wildlife of the Law on the Protection, Reproduction and Use of Wildlife
1. Production control for the protection, reproduction and use of wildlife is the activity of the hunting and fishing service of the subjects of hunting and fisheries, which performs the function of protecting wildlife on fixed hunting grounds and fisheries reservoirs and (or) sites.
2. The gamekeeper has the right:
1) to draw up protocols on administrative offenses in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on administrative offenses for their mandatory subsequent transfer to the territorial subdivision of the department of the authorized body or the department of the authorized body in the field of fisheries;
2) for the storage, carrying and use of service weapons in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2-1) to wear special clothing with insignia;
3) check documents for hunting and fishing rights from individuals and legal entities;
4) to seize firearms for violating hunting rules for mandatory subsequent transfer to the internal affairs bodies;
5) seize mining implements used in violation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife, illegally obtained hunting and fishing products, prohibited types of mining implements for mandatory subsequent transfer to the state inspector for the protection of wildlife, the state inspector for the protection of fish resources and other aquatic animals or employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic Kazakhstan;
6) stop vehicles and floating means on the territory of a fixed hunting ground, fishing reservoir and (or) site and its coastal strip when leaving them and inspect them, inspect objects in order to identify signs of an administrative offense.
3. The gamekeeper is obliged to:
1) ensure the protection of wildlife on designated hunting grounds and fishing ponds and (or) land plots;
2) to prevent violations of the rules of hunting and fishing, internal regulations of hunting, fire safety, as well as established restrictions and prohibitions on the use of wildlife in dormant areas and in reproductive areas;
3) require individuals and legal entities to stop actions that lead to the death of animals and the violation of their habitat;
4) take measures to preserve the habitat, breeding conditions and places of concentration of wildlife;
5) promote careful and humane treatment of wildlife;
6) take measures to provide assistance to wildlife in case of diseases and threats of death in natural disasters;
7) ensure the safety of full houses.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife, as well as the conservation and reproduction of Kazakh dog breeds and is aimed at ensuring conditions for the conservation of wildlife and its biological diversity, sustainable use of wildlife in order to meet environmental, economic, aesthetic and other human needs, taking into account the interests of present and future generations..
