1. Wildlife for special use is provided on the basis of permits for the use of wildlife and permits for the use of fish resources and other aquatic animals, issued in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1-1. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/15/2011 No. 461-IV (effective from the date of the first official publication).

1-2. Permits are refused in the following cases::

1) the submission of the information specified in the application is incomplete;

2) the unreliability of the information specified in the application;

3) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 01/02/2021 No. 401-VI (effective from 07/01/2021).

1-3. A certificate of the origin of the catch is issued by the territorial divisions of the department of the authorized body in the field of fisheries at the place of fishing for fish and other aquatic animals within two working days from the date of receipt of the application, upon the applicant's granting permission to use fish resources and other aquatic animals.

For fish and other aquatic animals raised in artificial conditions, a certificate of the origin of the catch is issued upon the provision of supporting documents on artificial breeding.

It is allowed to issue a certificate of the origin of the catch within the limits of the allocated quota for the seizure of fish resources and other aquatic animals, documents confirming the actual catch of fish within the framework of reclamation fishing, as well as the design capacity of an organization engaged in artificial breeding.

2. The general use of wildlife, including amateur (sports) fishing in the reserve fund of fisheries reservoirs and (or) areas with the withdrawal of up to five kilograms per angler per departure, is carried out without any permits.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife, as well as the conservation and reproduction of Kazakh dog breeds and is aimed at ensuring conditions for the conservation of wildlife and its biological diversity, sustainable use of wildlife in order to meet environmental, economic, aesthetic and other human needs, taking into account the interests of present and future generations..
