1. The limit of withdrawal of objects of the animal world is the maximum allowable amount of withdrawal of objects of the animal world, at which their natural reproduction and abundance are preserved.

The withdrawal limit for wildlife is determined in accordance with a biological justification prepared on the basis of population accounting materials, monitoring of wildlife and their habitat, and scientific research, and is approved by the authorized body or the authorized body in the field of fisheries within its competence.

The limit on the seizure of wildlife migrating across the territory of several States or living in bodies of water of interstate importance is determined on the basis of international treaties, and in their absence – in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The withdrawal limit for fish resources and other aquatic animals is set for the period from July 1 of this year to July 1 of next year.

The limit on the withdrawal of species of animals that are the object of hunting is set for the period from February 15 of this year to February 15 of next year.

2. The quota for the seizure of objects of the animal world, with the exception of fishing objects, is a part of the limit for the seizure of objects of the animal world that are the object of hunting, established by the republican associations of public associations of hunters and hunting subjects for users of the animal world.

The quota for the seizure of fishing facilities is a part of the limit for the seizure of fish resources and other aquatic animals, established by the territorial divisions of the department of the authorized body in the field of fisheries.

The volume of fish seized by reclamation fishing, carried out as an anti-fishing measure or to replace the ichthyofauna in a commercial fish farm, is not included in the total catch limit.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife, as well as the conservation and reproduction of Kazakh dog breeds and is aimed at ensuring conditions for the conservation of wildlife and its biological diversity, sustainable use of wildlife in order to meet environmental, economic, aesthetic and other human needs, taking into account the interests of present and future generations..
