Article 3. State regulation in the field of the defense industry and the State Defense Order of the Law on the Defense Industry and the State Defense Order
State regulation in the field of the defense industry and the state defense order includes:
1) development of state policy in the field of the defense industry and the state defense order;
2) development of the main directions of state policy in the field of military-technical cooperation;
3) legal regulation;
4) planning and implementation of measures for the development of the military-industrial complex;
5) organization of protection of information constituting state secrets and other legally protected secrets, ensuring information security;
6) development of science in the field of national security and defense;
7) coordination of the activities of government agencies and organizations of the military-industrial complex;
8) International cooperation;
9) regulation of the turnover of weapons and military equipment;
10) other measures in the field of the defense industry and the state defense order in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This Law regulates public relations in the field of the defense industry, the state defense order, as well as certain issues of the turnover of weapons and military equipment.
