Article 15-1. Use and alienation of property for the purpose of implementing public-private partnership agreements The Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Military property, with the exception of weapons, military equipment and special equipment, may be transferred to temporary possession and use for the implementation of a public-private partnership in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Defense facilities may be alienated to a private partner in order to reimburse costs under a public-private partnership agreement.
3. The total amount of compensation for investment costs and the cost of defense facilities alienated in accordance with paragraph 2 of this article may not exceed the amount of investment costs of a private partner.
Defense facilities alienated under public-private partnership agreements are subject to evaluation in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on evaluation activities.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of organization of defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the functions and powers of state bodies in ensuring the country's defense capability, the rights and obligations of citizens and organizations in the field of defense.
