Article 23-1. Types of the Armed Forces of the Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Types of Armed Forces:
1) carry out operational and strategic planning of the type of Armed Forces within the framework of strategic planning for the use of the Armed Forces;
2) ensure the combat, mobilization readiness and combat capability of military command and control bodies, troops (forces) of the type;
3) organize the training of military authorities, troops (forces) of the type;
4) ensure the moral and psychological training of troops, the observance of military discipline and law and order in troops (forces) of the type;
5) carry out control over the fulfillment of assigned tasks in the troops (forces) of the type;
6) perform other functions stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 7, 2005 No. 29.
This Law regulates public relations in the field of organization of defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the functions and powers of state bodies in ensuring the country's defense capability, the rights and obligations of citizens and organizations in the field of defense.
