Article 466. Driving cars, navigating ships, controlling a military aircraft by a person under the influence of alcohol, drugs or substance abuse, transferring driving or control, or allowing such person to drive or control military equipment of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1 Driving a combat, special, or transport vehicle, or driving warships, or controlling a military aircraft by a person who is intoxicated with alcohol, drugs, or substance abuse, or transferring driving or control of said military equipment to such person, as well as allowing such person to drive or control said military equipment, committed by an official, –

     are punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two hundred monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or arrest for up to fifty days, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to two years.

2 The same acts that negligently caused moderate harm to human health, –

     are punishable by a fine in the amount of up to one thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or restriction of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to five years.

3 The acts provided for in the first part of this Article, which negligently caused serious harm to human health, –

     are punishable by a fine in the amount of up to three thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or restriction of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to six years.

4 The acts provided for in the first part of this Article that negligently caused the death of a person, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to seven years.

5 The acts provided for in the first part of this Article that negligently caused the death of two or more persons, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to ten years.
