Article 26. Responsibility for the legalization and use of proceeds from illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their Analogues and precursors of the Law on Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, Their Analogues and Precursors and Measures to Counteract their Illicit Trafficking and Abuse
Income legalization: concealment or distortion of the sources and nature of the origin, location, placement, movement or actual ownership of funds or other property, or rights to property obtained from illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, precursors, as well as the use of such funds or other property for entrepreneurial or other economic activities. activities; placement of financial resources obtained from illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors in banks, enterprises and other structures, regardless of their forms of ownership, or the purchase of equipment for production and other needs with such funds, or the use of such funds and property for the purpose of continuing illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances substances, their analogues or precursors, entail the liability of legal entities and individuals in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 1998 No. 279.
This Law regulates the legal basis of state policy in the sphere of trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and establishes measures to counteract their illicit trafficking in order to provide drug treatment and protect the health of citizens, public and state security.
