Article 299-1. Propaganda or illegal advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, precursors of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Propaganda or illegal advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, precursors, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of up to three years with or without confiscation of property.
2. The same actions committed:
1) by a group of persons by prior agreement;
2) repeatedly;
3) in educational institutions, as well as in places of mass gathering of people;
4) using mass media, telecommunications networks or online platforms;
5) using official position, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to six years with or without confiscation of property.
