Article 7. Licensing of activities in the sphere of trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors of the Law On Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, Their Analogues and Precursors and Measures to Counteract their Illicit Trafficking and Abuse
1. All types of activities in the sphere of trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan are carried out by legal entities after obtaining a license for a specific type of activity for a period of up to five years, except for the cases provided for in Articles 19, 20 of this Law.

3. When issuing a license for a type of activity related to the trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, the conclusion of the internal affairs bodies on the appropriate inspection of employees who, by virtue of their official duties, will have access directly to narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors is taken into account.

4. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes a list of tools and equipment under special control and used for the production and manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, as well as rules for their development, production, manufacture, storage, transportation, shipment, release, sale, distribution, acquisition, use, importation into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
