Article 300. Illegal cultivation of plants prohibited for cultivation containing narcotic substances The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Sowing or growing plants prohibited for cultivation or cultivating varieties of cannabis, poppy or other plants containing narcotic substances, –
is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to six hundred hours, or restriction of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term.
2. The same act committed by:
1) by a group of persons by prior agreement;
2) repeatedly;
3) on a large scale, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
3. The act provided for in the first part of this Article, committed:
1) a criminal group;
2) on a particularly large scale, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with or without confiscation of property.
