Article 31. Confiscation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, precursors of the Law On Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, Their Analogues and Precursors and measures to counteract their Illicit Trafficking and abuse
1. Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors in illicit traffic, substances, tools and equipment used for their illicit manufacture, as well as property and financial resources used for illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors, or income received as a result of their illicit manufacture They are subject to confiscation and conversion to state revenue in accordance with the procedure established by law.
2. Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors used in illicit trafficking, as well as substances, tools and equipment for their manufacture that are subject to confiscation, the further use of which in legal circulation is deemed inappropriate by a court decision, are subject to destruction in accordance with the procedure established by law.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 1998 No. 279.
This Law regulates the legal basis of state policy in the sphere of trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and establishes measures to counteract their illicit trafficking in order to provide drug treatment and protect the health of citizens, public and state security.
