Article 3. Basic principles of the state policy in the field of ensuring military security of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The main principles of the state policy in the field of ensuring military security of the Republic of Kazakhstan are:
1) respect for sovereignty, inviolability of state borders, territorial integrity of other states and non-interference in their internal affairs;
2) strengthening confidence-building measures and openness in the military field;
3) Peaceful settlement of international disputes;
4) compliance with international obligations and assistance in achieving the objectives of the treaties to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party;
5) maintaining friendly relations with all countries on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual understanding;
6) participation in the creation of global and regional security systems aimed at preventing military conflicts, maintaining and restoring peace.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 7, 2005 No. 29.
This Law regulates public relations in the field of organization of defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the functions and powers of state bodies in ensuring the country's defense capability, the rights and obligations of citizens and organizations in the field of defense.
