Article 1. The concept of a republican referendum On a republican referendum

     1. The Republican referendum is a nationwide vote on the draft Constitution, constitutional laws, laws and decisions on other most important issues of public life of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. A referendum shall be held throughout the territory of the Republic.

Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 2, 1995 No. 2592.

     This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, determines the procedure for the appointment, preparation and conduct of a republican referendum.
