Article 50-2. Requirements for the electronic electoral system of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The electronic electoral system must ensure compliance with the requirements of the Constitution and this Constitutional Law, as well as the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information entered and output from it.

     2. The electronic electoral system must be provided with appropriate security measures that exclude unauthorized access to information, disruption of the functioning of software and hardware tools for collecting, processing, accumulating, storing, searching and transmitting information, and disabling these tools.

     3. When using an electronic electoral system in elections, it is not allowed:

     use of electronic systems other than those specified by the Central Election Commission;

     its connection to publicly available telecommunication networks and other information systems and communication networks not used in the electronic electoral system;

     illegal interference and control during electronic voting, vote counting, and transmission of information about election results.

     4. An electronic election system should include software and hardware (a device for recording voting data) that allows automatically storing any entered information with a description of the action and an indication of the exact time of its entry.
