Local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital:

1) participate in the formation and implementation of the industrial policy of the region;

2) provide methodological, consulting, practical and other assistance to the elements of the industrial and innovation infrastructure, subjects of the industrial and innovation system involved in the state stimulation of industrial and innovation activities;

3) collect and analyze information on the domestic value in the procurement of backbone enterprises, and provide it to the authorized body in the field of state incentives for industry in the form and within the time limits established by the authorized body in the field of state incentives for industry;

4) provide the authorized body in the field of state stimulation of industry with information on the implementation of measures of state stimulation of industry;

5) participate in the development of documents of the State Planning System in the Republic of Kazakhstan on industrial development;

6) report on the industrial development of the region at meetings of the interdepartmental commission on industrial policy;

7) provide measures of state stimulation of industry in accordance with this Law;

8) coordinate the implementation of industrial and innovative projects within the framework of the unified industrialization map and provide quarterly information to the authorized body in the field of state stimulation of industry;

9) develop measures to create conditions conducive to trading activities in accordance with Article 53 of this Law;

10) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
