1. Local representative bodies:

1) review and approve budget programs developed by the relevant akimats concerning the allocation of funds to encourage citizens who assist internal affairs bodies in ensuring public order;

2) monitor the activities of the commissions of the relevant akimats to encourage citizens involved in ensuring public order;

3) exercise other powers in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

2. Local executive bodies of the district (city of regional significance):

1) register and keep personal records of citizens involved in ensuring public order;

2) establish district (city in cities of regional significance) commissions to encourage citizens involved in ensuring public order;

3) determine the types and procedure of incentives, as well as the amount of monetary remuneration for citizens involved in ensuring public order;

3-1) take measures to involve citizens in the protection of public order;

4) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Local executive bodies of the region, the city of republican significance, the capital :

1) keep regional records of citizens involved in ensuring public order;

2) establish commissions to encourage citizens involved in ensuring public order in the region, the city of republican significance, the capital;

3) determine the types and procedure of incentives, as well as the amount of monetary remuneration for citizens involved in ensuring public order;

4) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 9, 2004 No. 590.

This Law regulates public relations arising in connection with the voluntary participation of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ensuring public order.
