Article 16. Relations with local executive bodies of the Constitutional Law on the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Government of the Republic:
1) manages the activities of local executive bodies of the Republic in matters of public administration, monitors their implementation of laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic;
2) repeals or suspends, in whole or in part, the validity of acts of local executive bodies, submits proposals for their cancellation or suspension to the President of the Republic for consideration.
2. The akims of administrative-territorial units, who head the relevant local executive bodies, are representatives of the President and the Government of the Republic and submit proposals on public administration issues to the Government of the Republic.

This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the competence, organization and activities of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
