1. Local executive bodies of the region, the city of republican significance and the capital:

1) implement the state policy in the field of electronic document management and electronic archives in the territory of the region, the city of republican significance and the capital;

2) provide methodological guidance on issues of electronic document management and electronic archives in the territory of the region, the city of republican significance and the capital;

3) carry out state control over compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on electronic documents and electronic digital signatures, with the exception of the sources of acquisition of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the central state archives;

4) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 7, 2003 No. 370.

This Law is aimed at regulating relations arising from the creation and use of electronic documents certified by electronic digital signatures, providing for the establishment, modification or termination of legal relations, as well as the rights and obligations of participants in legal relations arising in the field of electronic document circulation, including civil law transactions.
