Article 28. The State of war of the Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan

      1. A state of war is declared by the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the event of an armed attack on the Republic of Kazakhstan by another State (group or coalition of States), as well as in cases provided for by international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      2. From the moment of the declaration of a state of war or the actual outbreak of hostilities, wartime begins, which expires from the moment of the announcement of the cessation of hostilities, but not earlier than their actual cessation.  

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 7, 2005 No. 29.

     This Law regulates public relations in the field of organization of defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the functions and powers of state bodies in ensuring the country's defense capability, the rights and obligations of citizens and organizations in the field of defense.
