Article 54. Limitation of the possibility of termination of an employment contract at the initiative of the employer of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Termination of an employment contract on the initiative of the employer during the period of temporary disability and the employee's stay on vacation is not allowed, except for the cases provided for in subparagraphs 1), 18), 20) and 23) of paragraph 1, paragraph 1-1 of Article 52 of this Code.
2. Termination of an employment contract on the initiative of the employer on the grounds provided for in subparagraphs 2) and 3) of paragraph 1 of Article 52 of this Code is not allowed for pregnant women who have provided the employer with a pregnancy certificate, women with children under the age of three, single mothers raising a child under the age of fourteen (a child with persons with disabilities under the age of eighteen), by other persons raising the specified category of children without a mother.
