Article 129. Release and removal of guardians or trustees from their duties of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The body performing the functions of guardianship or trusteeship shall release the guardian or trustee from performing his duties in cases of the return of the minor ward to his parents or his adoptive parents.
When placing a ward in an appropriate educational organization, medical and medical-social organization, or other special organization, the body performing the functions of guardianship or trusteeship shall release the previously appointed guardian or trustee from performing his duties, if this does not contradict the interests of the ward.
2. If there are valid reasons (illness, change of property status, lack of mutual understanding with the ward, etc.), the guardian or trustee is relieved of his duties at his request or on the initiative of the body performing the functions of guardianship or trusteeship.
3. Improper performance of their duties by a guardian or trustee is prohibited, including the use of guardianship or guardianship for selfish purposes or leaving the ward without supervision and necessary assistance.
In the cases provided for in the first part of this paragraph, the body performing the functions of guardianship or trusteeship is obliged to remove the guardian or trustee from performing these duties and take the necessary measures.
