Article 69. Competence of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law On the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) organize and ensure the protection of the State Border in the airspace;
2) participate in the protection of the State Border on land, in internal and territorial waters, as well as in the underwater environment in accordance with this Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) participate, within their competence, in resolving incidents related to violations of the State Border regime, and involve other authorized bodies for these purposes.;
4) develop proposals for the establishment of sea corridors and traffic separation schemes in territorial waters;
5) involve the forces and means of authorized bodies to carry out measures to protect the State border in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
6) in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, assist the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ensuring the protection of the State border;
7) exercise other powers provided for by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection of the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
