Article 16. Development of military-applied, service-applied and other sports in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, law enforcement and special government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law on Physical Culture and Sports
1. The basis of military-applied and service-applied sports are special actions (including techniques) related to the performance of official duties by military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are developed within the framework of the activities of one or more state bodies.
2. Physical training of military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the main subject of training conducted in order to increase the body's resistance of military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan to various conditions related to the specifics of military service, service in law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the performance of combat and operational tasks taking into account changes in physical environmental factors.
3. Physical training in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out in order for employees to successfully perform their official duties on the basis of physical training programs approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. In the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to attract military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies to regular sports, sports clubs, physical culture and sports organizations may be established and operate, developing appropriate military-applied, service-applied, technical and other sports, training athletes, as well as forming national teams.
5. The organizations specified in paragraph 4 of this Article carry out the educational and training process, create conditions for military personnel of all categories and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan to engage in sports, train athletes to participate in sports competitions, including the World Army Games, the Spartakiad of Friendly Armies, the World Championships and the World Games of Police and firefighters, providing for the organization of educational, training and sports events, medical care, rehabilitation measures after intense physical exertion, diseases and injuries among athletes, provision of food, accommodation and travel, as well as provision of sports equipment, sports equipment and equipment, carrying out activities to improve the skills of coaches and other specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.
6. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which manage the development of military-applied and service-applied, technical and other sports, form national teams in relevant sports to participate in sports events, conduct regular testing of the physical fitness of military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organize, conduct and provide national and international sports events, They develop and promptly amend the sports classification for military-applied, service-applied, technical and other sports, submit to the authorized body in the field of physical culture and sports, local executive bodies documents for awarding and depriving athletes and coaches of sports titles, athletes' sports categories, qualification categories of coaches and sports judges from among military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan are awarded sports ranks to athletes, qualification categories for coaches and sports judges and degrees for military personnel in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
7. The unified calendar of mass sports events for military-applied and service-applied, technical and other sports held among military personnel and employees of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan is approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of physical culture and sports, defines the legal, organizational, economic and social foundations for ensuring the activities and development of mass physical culture, amateur and professional sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
