On the establishment of the Institute of Deputy commanders (chiefs) for educational and socio-legal work in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 1993 No. 1084

In order to improve educational work in the military, strengthen military discipline and law and order among the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and increase responsibility for the social and legal protection of military personnel and their family members, I appoint:      

1. Introduced in the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan the institute of deputy commanders (chiefs) for educational and socio-legal work in the ranks from the staff of the Ministry of Defense, the Republican Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Border and Internal Troops, military institutions up to and including companies (their equals), abolishing the institute of assistant commanders (chiefs) for work with personnel.      

2. To create departments in the office of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the departments of the Republican Guard, Border and Internal Troops, in corps, divisions, brigades and their equals, departments, in regiments and their equals, departments for educational and socio-legal work.      

3. The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee and the Republican Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan should bring the staff of military units and institutions in accordance with this Decree within one month.
